Assam Employment Exchange Registration new online process in 2023

Assam Employment Exchange Registration/renewal process in Assam is now online. Every job seeker can register themselves under Assam Employment Exchange through online process right from home.

Why Employment Exchange Registration is required?

To apply for any government job in Assam Employment Exchange registration is required.

Requirement for Aadhaar Base Registration: Assam Employment Exchange Registration

Following documents are to be submitted online for Aadhaar base registration under Employment Exchange in Assam.

1. Age Proof :- Birth Certificate/ HSLC Admit card/ School Certificate ( Any one of these three documents)
2. Proof of Residency:-
   1.  Applicants having AADHAAR Card with permanent address within the state of Assam will be allowed to Register Online without visiting the Employment Exchange as per Office Memorandum issued vide no. SKE. 42/2021/32  Dated Dispur the 19th July 2021. (Only for verification of the state of ASSAM) 
   2. Driving License (either self or parents), Copy of Chitha/Jamabandi (either self or parents), Copy of Passport (either self or parents), Certified Copy of Electoral Roll/EPIC (either self or parents).
3. Educational Qualification Certificate :- Pass Certificate (S) and Mark Sheet(S)
4. Caste Certificate in cases of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/EWS applicants
5. In case of P.W.D ( Persons With Disability) candidate –Disability certificate issued by   competent authority.
6. Additional Qualification Certificate ( if any)
7. Experience Certificate ( If any)
8. Non- Creamy Layer Certificate.
9. AADHAAR Card (non mandatory)

Requirement for Non-Aadhaar base Registration

All the requirements mentioned in the Aadhaar base registration also required for Non-Aadhaar base registration. But Aadhaar is not required.

Please note: Non-Aadhaar base registration only possible when the candidate name has been reflected in NRC. Otherwise department will not going to allow such candidate whose name has not been included in NRC.

Fee for Assam Employment Exchange Registration

The registration fee is INR 10 which is payable via UPI, debit card, credit card or net-banking service.

Guideline for Aadhaar base Registration

Following guideline need to be followed for the online registration under Employment Exchange in Assam who has Aadhaar Cards:

1. All citizens of India above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to register their names in the Employment Exchange of the State of Assam.

2. The candidates are eligible for Registration in one Employment Exchange only in the state, where they are permanent residents within the jurisdiction of the District.
3. Applicants who are already employed and seeking better employment have to be registered only after production of a “No Objection Certificate” issued by the employer.
4. All text box with asterisk (*) symbol is mandatory to filled up.
5. Please scan all Educational Qualification (Pass Certificate & Mark sheets in chronological order from lowest level to highest level) into a single PDF and upload as one single PDF.
6. After successfully submission of application Employment Exchange Card (X 10) will be issued to his/her registered Email. 
7. Every registrant shall renew his /her registration once in three (3) years in the due month as indicated on his/her Registration card .
8. Failure to renew the registration even after lapse of grace period (3 months), will lead to cancellation of registration and subsequent removal from Live Register maintained in the Employment Exchange.
9. No request for renewal of registration after the expiry of the due month and grace period shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Guideline for Non-Aadhaar base Registration: Assam Employment Exchange Registration

The guideline is almost similar with Aadhaar base registration but few point added due to Non-Aadhaar case:

1. All citizens of India above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam ,(as per Office memorandum no .E/P-344/41472 Dtd 05-07-1971) are eligible to Register their names in the Employment Exchanges of the State of Assam.
2. The candidates are eligible for Registration in one Employment Exchange only in the state, where they are permanent residents within the jurisdiction of the District.
3. Applicants who are already employed and seeking better employment have to be registered only after production of a “No Objection Certificate” issued by the employer.
4. Once a candidate has registered online and completes the requisite information in the form, he/she will be issued an acknowledgement receipt informing about the stipulated date and time for physical verification of all original documents.
5. The candidate is required to visit concerned Employment Exchange in person for verification of all original documents on stipulated date and time.
6. All text box with asterisk(*) symbol is mandatory to filled up.
7. Please scan all Educational Qualification (Pass Certificate & Mark sheets in chronological order from lowest level to highest level) into a single PDF and upload as one single PDF.
8. After physical verification if documents and certificates are found in order, an Employment Exchange Card (X-10) will be issued. Applicant will receive Employment Exchange Card through his/her Email.
9. Every registered jobseeker shall renew his /her registration once in three (3) years in the due month as indicated on his/her Registration card by either personally visiting the concerned Employment Exchange or online. A grace period of three (3) months is provided to the registrants.
10. Failure to renew the registration even after lapse of grace period, will lead to cancellation of registration and subsequent removal from Live Register maintained in the Employment Exchange.
11. No request for renewal of registration after the expiry of the due month and grace period shall be entertained under any circumstances. 

Assam Employment Exchange Registration step by step guide

• Visit the official website for online registration process.

• Click on Log In/Register button at the right side of the website. And you will be landed to the below login/Registration page. Click on Login/Registration.

• You will get the below page where you have to log in or register.

• If you have already registered then simply log in. If you are a new candidate then click on Sign Up for MeriPehchaan. After clicking on Sign Up you will be landed to the Sign up page like below.

• Verify your Aadhaar linked Mobile number here via OTP verification process then fill the form create your user and password. You will get email or text massage confirmation after successful sign up.
• After getting log in Id and password you may log in to your sewa-setu account and will see the below page.

• In the search box search for Employment Exchange Registration. You will get the below page. Click on Apply with Aadhaar Option.

• You will be redirected to the below page where you have to provide your consent then you will do the OTP verification and proceed to Form fill up.

• After proceeding in next step, provide your Personal details, education qualification, address details and select the employment exchange where you want to register yourself.
• Then if you have experience provide the details otherwise keep it blank and click on save and continue.
• After providing the required details you will be asked to upload the documents like education qualification, address proof, date of birth proof, caste certificate, Aadhaar card, signature and passport photo.
• After successful documents upload you will be asked to pay the registration fee that is INR 10 rupees via internet banking, debit card, credit card or via UPI.
• After making the payment your Employment exchange registration card will be generated and you can take printout of it. You will also get the same certificate in your registered mail id and it will be available in your sewa-setu account under my transaction section.
