Every Company or business organization who engaged employee more than 10 nos mandatorily required to get their organization registered under ESIC.

On the other hand, company or business entity who engaged more than 20 nos of employee required to registered under Provident Fund.

Employer or companies can get the common registration from Shram Suvidha Portal for ESIC and Provident Fund.

After successful registration via Shram Suvidha Portal

, employer will get the Registration Certificate in their registered mail ID.

How to get lost Registration Certificate in Provident Fund?

After registration under the EPF and MP Act, 1952, employer will get log in Id and password to access their Provident Fund employer portal where then can register their employees, file monthly returns, approve KYC/claims of their employees online etc.

  • Here you can see the employer details like name, establishment code member details, establishment details etc.
  • Select the Establishment option from the top bar.
  • Go to Form 5A from the drop down menu.
  • Click on Download From 5A showing on the right hand side top corner.
  • Download Form 5 A.
  • It will be saved in your local storage drive after successful download.

Form 5 A contain all the relevant information regarding your registration under Provident Fund.

How to get lost Registration Certificate in ESIC?

In ESIC, it is not possible to download the registration certificate online from employer portal as like in Provident Fund.

Employer can get the copy of the certificate manually from ESIC branch office or ESIC regional office. To get the copy of the certificate, employer required to submit a request letter to issue duplicate certificate addressing ESIC branch officer or Revenue Director of ESIC regional office.

The letter should contain the registration number and valid reason stating how you have lost the certificate. Some time ESIC official may ask for missing report submitted at police station.

After submitting the request letter, if the authority find the mentioned reason of lost is valid, they will issue a duplicate certificate either in hard copy or they may send the certificate copy in your registered mail Id.
