Karnataka Minimum Wages has been revised by the Government of Karnataka via notification number: KAE 18 LWA 2022 dated 28-07-2022.
Previously the Draft notification has been publish on 19-03-2022 for to revised the Minimum Wages of the state and given two month time for suggestion and objection from related concern parties.
The suggestions/objections received and the draft proposal were placed before the Karnataka State Minimum Wages Advisory Board.
Later on the suggestions/objections received in connection with the meeting of the Karnataka State Minimum Wages Advisory Board have been discussed.
Accordingly Government of Karnataka has published notification to revised the Minimum Wages for Employment in Security Agencies (including all establishments and establishments employing office staff and security personnel through the agency).
Zone-wise the Minimum wages rate is different in the state. And there are 4 Zones:
Zone I
the jurisdiction of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and designated The agglomeration areas
Zone II
All municipal corporations of the state and the designated All the areas of the State except the areas mentioned
Zone III
All district headquarters of the state except the areas mentioned in Zone-II.
Zone IV
excluding the areas mentioned in Zone-2 and 3 of the State Other Parts
