Central Minimum Wages for Person Employed in Agriculture
Central Government has revised the Minimum Wages for person employed in Agricultural Sector w.e.f 01.10.2021.
The Average Consumer Price Index for industrial workers reaching 345.21 from 340.95 as on 30.06.2021. Therefore results in as increase of 4.26 points.
The revised Variable Dearness Allowance(VDA) shall be payable from 01.10.02021. The increased rates of VDA per day (area and category of workers wise) given in the below list: (all values in rupees)

Central Minimum Wages for Person Employed in Mines
Rates of VDA also increased for person employed in Gypsum Mines, Barytes Mines, Bauxite Mines, Manganese Mines etc. Rates of VDA increase also results in hike of minimum wages.

Central Minimum Wages for person Employed in Construction and Maintenance Operation
Construction and Maintenance operation include construction and maintenance of roads and runways or in building operations including laying down underground electric, wireless, radio, television, telephone, telegraph and overseas communication cables, and similar other underground cabling work, electric line water supply lines and sewerage pipe lines.
