ESIC E-Pehchan Card is now downloadable from employees self service portal of ESIC. Employees Sate Insurance Corporation enable the option to reduce dependency of employee on employer for getting benefit under the scheme.
Earlier this announcement, to get the E-Pehchan Card the employee required to depends on HR of the companies. However most of the companies now provide the TIC and MC after completion of the joining process.
Employer or companies mandatorily required to register newly joined ESIC eligible employees under the scheme within 10 days from the date of joining. And after registration, TIC and MC will be provided to employee to avail benefit under the scheme whenever required.
How to Download ESIC E-Pehchan Card by Employees?
The downloading process is explained below in simple points:
You will see the above page after visiting the site.
If you have not signed up yet, you have to sign up first to log in to your account by clicking on sign up.
Provide the details showing above and click on sign up.
You will receive an OTP in the registered mobile number. Provide the OTP in the next step and create your password.
After password creation now you can log in to your account.
After Log in You will get the option in the left side corner to download the ESIC E-Pehchan Card.
Click on the view-Print E-Pehchan Card and download it accordingly.
After successful download, you can take print out of the card for further use.
Before going to avail benefit from ESIC, you should ensure to get the signature of employer or HR on the TIC and affix a joint photograph with dependent on the second page of the ESIC TIC.
To get benefit under ESIC, you have to bring the TIC and MC to the dispensary mentioned in the card to get doctor consultation and medicine. If the illness or disease is severe then you will be referred to the ESIC Model Hospital by the doctor seating at the dispensary.
Even you can get referral to private ESIC Tie up Hospitals/Medicals for your self or dependent if Super Specialty treatment/benefit is enabled against your IP.
Super Specialty Benefit available to insured person and dependent up to rupees 10 Lacs under ESIC.
The eligibility criteria for SST for insured person and dependent provided below:
Insured Person need to compete six months of service from Date of registration to avail SST for self.
Contributed should not be less than 78 days in each of the two contribution period.
IP mandatorily required to complete one year of service from date of registration to avail SST for dependent.
How to check Super Specialty Benefit Eligibility Status?
To check SST benefit details whether the insured person eligible to get the benefit under Super Specialty or not insured person may log in to their account and click on Entitlement of Benefit tab to check the SST eligibility status.
