ESIC Tie-up Hospital are those Hospitals where ESIC refer an Insured person in case of Emergency and necessity of medical facilities due to non-availability of facility in ESIC Model Hospital.

About Employee’s State Insurance Corporation (ESIC)

Employee’s State Insurance Corporation is governed under ESI, Act, 1948 and provide social security benefit to employees working under private companies establishment who receives gross salary less than 21000.

ESI Act, 1948 encompasses certain health related eventualities that the workers are generally exposed to; such as sickness, maternity, temporary or permanent disablement, Occupational disease or death due to employment injury, resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity-total or partial.

Social security provision made in the Act to counterbalance or negate the resulting physical or financial distress in such contingencies to insured person.

List of ESIC Benefits

Eligible employee of any organization registered under the ESIC within 10 days from the date of joining. After joining under the scheme, insured person will get the ESIC E-Pehchan card from employer to receive the below facilities subject to eligibility condition:

1. Medical Benefit.
2. Sickness Benefit.
3. Enhanced Sickness Benefit.
4. Extended Sickness Benefit.
5. Temporary and Permanent Disablement Benefit.
6. Dependent Benefit.
7. Maternity Benefit.
8. Rajiv Gandhi Shramik Kalyan Yojana.
9. Confinement Expenses.
10. Medical Care to Retired Insured Person.
11. Super Specialty Benefit or Super Specialty Treatment.

What is ESIC Super Specialty Benefit?

ESIC Super Specialty Benefit/Super Specialty Treatment is available to insured person when continuous contribution deposited against the insured person for a period of six month to get benefit for self.

To get SST benefit for eligible family members continuous contribution should be deposited for a period of one year.

How to Get ESIC Super Specialty Benefit?

If the required medical facility is not available in ESIC Model Hospital to treat the insured person or eligible family member of the IP then ESIC will refer to its tie up Hospitals for treatment.

Insured person and eligible family member of the IP may get the cashless SST benefit without difficulties.

To get referral for SST benefit Insured person may visit the ESIC Model Hospital and take referral from Hospital Superintendent or ESIC Dispensary or ESIC Branch office or Regional ESIC office as per location.
