Minimum Wages in Delhi has been revised by the Delhi Government which was effective from 01st April, 2023 for schedule employment in the state.
The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi published the official notification dated: 20/04/2023 vide notification number: F.No- (142)/02/MW/VIII/Part file/429-443.
The All India Average Consumer Price IndexNumber of the period from July, 2022 to December, 2022 which is 378.576, an increase of 12.82 points. Therefore, Delhi Government increase the dearness Allowance in the state.

The Minimum Wages has been revised for all schedule employment in the state vide notification number: (142)/02/MW/VIII/Part File/5972-5986 dated 14/10/2022.

To calculate the Daily Minimum Wages in Delhi, the monthly wages required to be divided by 26 days. weekly Holidays not taken in to account while calculating the Daily wages.
According a leading website, the cost of leaving in Delhi for a single person is around 29K per month without rent.
According to that insight, the wages paid by Government may not going to cover the over all expenses of in individual.
However, an employee may get much more than the prescribed Minimum Wages in the state based on the skill and job they used to deliver.
